ABOUT US
Close by the River Thames in the West Oxfordshire village of Northmoor, Church Farm specializes in extensively reared, grass-fed lamb and beef. We have a flock of some 600 Romney sheep, and a suckler herd of pedigree Aberdeen Angus beef cows.
Owned by Julia and Graham Shelton, Church Farm operates an extensive farming system with low stocking rates and high quality stockmanship at all times.
We are Farm-Assured and are especially proud of our five-star, on-farm microbutchery.

OUR PRODUCTS
Our animals are in demand as breeding stock although we keep most of them for ourselves.
Much of our beef and lamb goes directly to the major quality supermarkets, but we always keep a regular supply of our Northmoor Lamb® butchered on the farm for our butchery customers (see ‘Church Farm Shop’).
Our prices are competitive, and the meat is tender and full of flavour. This is because our lambs are born and reared on the permanent grass meadows of Church Farm, they have a journey of less than 10 miles to the local abattoir, and we mature and cut the meat ourselves in our own 5-star butchery, quality controlling every stage of the process.
